World of Omnisphere – the Ultimate database of 3rd party patch collections
Image

Rocky Mountain Sounds is excited to announce a new resource for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 owners.

Here’s more details direct from Rocky Mountain Sounds…

Being a fan of Spectrasonics Omnisphere and all of the wonderful developers who continue to push the boundaries of what Omnisphere 2 can do, Rocky Mountain Sounds worked to collect details for nearly every 3rd party Omnisphere collection available. There has not been a single location to discover the amazing work that sound designers have been doing with Omnisphere until now.

Enter the World of Omnisphere! With a searchable listing and filtering by developer, the WoO provides a fantastic way of discovering inspiring new sounds. Each collection has a dedicated page featuring the original product details, video and sound demo playlists. You can keep track of favourites and also comment and interact with other users. All links go directly back to the developer for purchasing making this a great way to shop.

This is a wonderful resource, so thank you and I hope you see some benefits from the increased traffic to your site. I'm new to Omnisphere so, whilst learning to shape sounds myself is the big thing, finding my way into the wonderful world of sound sets has been bewildering in itself!

But Omnisphere already has an insane amount of presets, why the hell would you need more?

Yes, it's true that Omnisphere has over 14,000 inspiring sounds included. But to answer your question:

Because every sound designer has their own signature, and there are libraries that offer sounds not available in Omnisphere, like many of the patch libraries I produced for ILIO: https://www.ilio.com/patches

Reverb Machine makes patches that bring the sound of The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Kanye West, Queen, Rush, Lady Gaga, The Cars, Tame Impala, etc. into Omnisphere.

So if you want to stay current with your sounds or have access to exotic sounds, like a riser made with a Lamborghini (coming to my patch library 'Elevator' early September, 2021) then 3rd Party patches are your ticket. :)

Is there a way to search only for multi libraries instead of patch libraries?
