How does Blue Cat Axiom compare to Guitar Rig as a multi fx?

not necessarily for guitars, for synth, vocal, etc

Don't tell me to try the demo (pls). I have tried the demo. I want your opinion/s.

(i'd buy it for 1 preset to make 1 song, but in this case i don't want to do that, i'd prefer your opinion/s)

AFAIK Axiom allows you to use your own VST plugins anywhere in the chain, so in effect Axiom is the multi fx unit.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I did not tried the new guitar rig yet, but I'm pretty sure it's not the same goal for those 2.
I think guitar rig is smaller footprint on the cpu, has better sound design presets and a nice GUI. Whereas Axiom can go deeper, sound much better in the ampsim department, is completely open on vst you can insert in the signal but need those cpu cycles and more time learning it. It's a joy to play my guitar trough it but I'd test it to check if my computer could handle it if I'd like to throw it on more than 3 tracks. And the presets are really ampsim related too...
I guess it depends on what you want to do with a multifx in the first place...

Ok thanks guys. I decided to leave it this time, and bought something else instead.
