One of me more rambling 'pseudo-epic attempt' numbers (well..it's 5 minutes long anyway).
Game of about 5 halves with no real verses/chorus to speak of and quite minimal vocals. Some jaath-y chords at the start, 60s organ, bombast drums in the second half, wibble guitar in the faux MBV stylee, solo x2 (the second one is the first one chopped up and reversed, but f**k it, I'm 'avin it), and the kitchen sink...

No doubt a bit of the usual refinement to follow.

Solid songwriting and production - loved the string sections in the beginning - nice one!

The marvellous (and free) Blakus Cello. :love: Actually put a bit of effort in on the strings on this with the expression/eq/volume automation (given that they're a bit prominent in the quiet bits there), rather than just slapping on the Mtron as usual. :hihi:

What a wonderful Monday morning to wake up to. A rare treat of having a DT song to listen to. One of your more unusual tracks. Didn't even seem close to being 5 minutes long. But then again your stuff just flies by.

I should play your stuff for my friend Paul and tell him I found some lost tapes from Pete Townsend. Guarantee he believes me.

Amazingly done as always.

Thank you for making my day.

I listened and went 'wow' this is good...it could be very good indeed if it goes into a big full on, intense rock section , but it won't...

BUT IT DID!!!

Absolutely loved it...verse / chorus...WGAF...it rises and falls in exactly the right places for me...very engaging and at times intense, emotional piece.

Cheers Wags, can't rush these things, plus it's been hot! :cry:

I did do a couple of contest entries as well in between - some miserable thing with sinthesiser and an early 70s noisy rawk number;

Got another one almost done too, just need to get me arse in gear with some crooning - quite laid back. :scared:

Stairway To Donkey... :hihi:

Been listening to Ver Zep quite a lot recently, think it's rubbing off a bit in the recent 'rockist' tendencies..

Dang, this track took me places and kept surprising. Enjoyed the whole ride and all the turns along the way.

Thank you sir, very kind!

Tidied a few minor things up, and have also remembered I said I'd add a google drive link as well given some issues with people accessing my webspace.
