Anyone using Guitar Pro 7.5 How to add a barre chord and drag or move notes across the strings?

So trying out the trial version of Guitar Pro 7.5.

VERY fraustrating program to use.

Two questions
How to add a fully Barre (Barred) chord and/or a partially Barre (Barred) chord?

How do you move a note across the strings (not up and down the fret) - so if I had a 5 on the fifth string, how do I sinply drag it to the same position on a different string?

The user manual is little more than a summarized brochure and there are no real tutorials on line.
