Hello,
Has anyone else tried getting the Michigan Synthworks f8r to work with the Disting ex. I have spent the last hour following directions and maksing sure everything is connected correctly. I currently cannot get it to work.
It is really vague for the f8r which address it sends on and I tried all of them that it shown in the Arduino Code. (Looks like no dip default to (0x34)?
If someone knows how to integrate... please help!

Have you reflashed the F8R with the i2c code enabled? IIRC it ships with it disabled.
MSW have a disting EX - you might like to ask them for help too.

I asked them … they just said”put it in leader mode” which was the first thing I did. I checked the connections and everything is lined up, but see no i2c data coming into it

Do you have the pull-up resistors enabled at one end or other?

Yep … flipped the switch as specified. Nothing. I also tried the midi config and see no Midi data coming through either.

Looks like it is a broken f8r. Returning to MSW and seeing if a new one bodes better results.
Thanks for helping as well to isolate it!
