Hello there,
I’m about to undergo a daw upgrade shortly, featuring a nice M.2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus, so I’m greatly looking to the overdue upgrade! I’m using Cubase 8.5 Pro at the moment but upgrading to 11 Pro also. I have a nice 9 minute track I’m working on that’s about 80% complete, but I’m not going to have time to finish it until I continue it in the new 11 Pro. Could anyone tell me the best way to save the track in 8.5 Pro so I can continue it in 11 Pro. I’ll obviously have to save the project as a .cpr file, and all the samples and vst instruments I’ve used will have to be re installed/ imported back in 11 Pro. I could also save and render each channel/ track to a separate audio channel which would help. Is there any other advice on this procedure from anyone that I’ve missed, before I back the project up and wipe the drive clean?
Cheers!
Cubase project saving.
