Hi everyone,

I made a small open source cross-platform application, that allows you to send SysEx files to MIDI devices:

https://github.com/sourcebox/sysex-drop

My main intention for this app was to give some simpler solution than MIDIOX for Windows users by reducing controls to a bare minimum. The downloads can be found under the releases section:

https://github.com/sourcebox/sysex-drop/releases

For macOS, I compiled the application for 10.8 or later, but I don't know if it really works on such old systems because I only can test on 10.11 and 10.13. If someone with an old machine (but yet 64-bit) could have a look, that would be nice. Newer systems like Big Sur will probably work.

For Windows, it's possible that it does not work on all machines due to either missing a DLL or graphic card problems. If the application does not start at all, it would be nice if I could get the error message that is shown when starting it from the terminal.

The Linux AppImage should work for systems onwards from Ubuntu 18.04. (Bionic Beaver). I'm on Linux Mint and it worked there.

And yes, I know that neither macOS nor Windows trust the application because it's not from a certified developer. I have no solution for this right now.

Thanks in advance for your efforts.
