Hey everyone!

I'm been using a Novation Launchkey MK3 with Ableton, which is has almost full support for, but I was wondering if anyone has used it with FL Studio yet and what kind of integration support does it have?

Is there any other MIDI controller with better support than this keyboard?

Thanks!

I think the Launchkeys work the same way as the Impulse in other DAW's. Meaning that the transport controls, and the knobs and faders work with the Maeckie HUI protocol (you basically have the transport controls pre-mapped to the transport controls of the DAW, if it supports Maeckie HUI, and you can use the knobs and faders for volume and pan control of the the DAW tracks, plus you can switch between 4 pages of 8 tracks each, at least that's how it works for the Impulse). And, apart from that, you can also map the knobs and faders to virtual instrument's controls in MIDI mode.

Read the manual of the Launchkey. You will find the answers to your questions there.

P.S.: I don't know what FL Studio supports and what it doesn't. But, I assume it will at least support Maeckie HUI protocol. That's pretty standard.

P.P.S.: Check here, chapter 4.3 "Working with HUI": https://fael-downloads-prod.focusrite.c ... -%20EN.pdf
