Was reading an article about the guy suing Nirvana, in which they state they may have to change their songs because of lawyers, and says "law suits are par for the course."
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/da ... t-n1280829
...and then saw that people were pissed off because LCDsoundsystems show tickets were sold off to scalpers in minutes, and few can go to the shows now. If I were LCD soundsystem i would cancel all those tickets and tell people "they will be available at the door."
Music is under attack, stay out of sight.

bullshit clickbait thread.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Jeez, who would have thought it was unethical to print and distribute thirty million plus copies of a photo of a naked child without their consent, for profit?

ive seen him (the baby) on telly, as a grown man, about 20 or so, and he was going on about using the fact to get laid. as i remember thinking it was a bit weird, using your baby pic, to get girls in to bed.
but, not many people had their baby pic on such an iconic album

Yeah, the parents got $200 for the photo. Which somehow makes it weirder.AnX wrote: Wed Oct 06, 2021 8:06 pmThe parent/s gave consent, as I recall....funky lime wrote: Wed Oct 06, 2021 7:55 pm Jeez, who would have thought it was unethical to print and distribute thirty million plus copies of a photo of a naked child without their consent, for profit?

People have weird ways of coping with trauma. So whatever his perceived motive might smell like, it certainly doesn't invalidate any complex feelings he might have had about it throughout his life.
Sometimes victims don't even realize they're victims until much later. Especially if they've been gaslighted/persuaded into thinking they aren't. Not saying that's what has happened here, but who knows. Could be bullshit, or maybe not. Who am I to judge.
