I have no answer to your question, but, if you want to learn something, try to replicate them yourself. I always find that much better than just using stuff where you can just hit play and go.

Hi i am not looking to play them like a dj hit and play as you say!, i am looking to learn/get ideas how to play them on Keyboard as a hobbie to see how they where structured, me personally love the trance scene of the 90s and as a total beginner with very little music making knowledge i was hoping this would help, its a good starting point for me personally may be not for you that's why i am asking for some help, might not get any! but though its worth a try, but ill take your advice onboard and hopefully in the future ill be able to do that.chk071 wrote: Fri Oct 08, 2021 12:05 pm I have no answer to your question, but, if you want to learn something, try to replicate them yourself. Ok, fair enough.
TBH, I'd just go about it like this: Google "Track XY midi file", and then download the file respectively. That surely won't make sure that the site you download from is legit, but, frankly, I don't really consider that the worst crime in history.

The problem with this is that, while you can find MIDI files for some tracks by these artists (I'm also a fan of the artists you mentioned, btw), it's highly unlikely that you'll find the original MIDI files used in the actual songs themselves. So, you'll be looking at some people's recreations of them, which could be pretty poorly done/wrong. Also, consider that, in trance, the various parts (particularly lead synths) are usually pretty closely tied to the sound design and modulation, which is often embedded in the MIDI track, or automated on separate track. Without that, you'll only get the notes, which might sound very different when used with the wrong patch, without modulation/automation of the same parameters, etc. But, if you just want to learn the notes, you should be able to find many MIDI files from those artists pretty readily.DB51 wrote: Fri Oct 08, 2021 12:49 pmHi i am not looking to play them like a dj hit and play as you say!, i am looking to learn/get ideas how to play them on Keyboard as a hobbie to see how they where structured, me personally love the trance scene of the 90s and as a total beginner with very little music making knowledge i was hoping this would help, its a good starting point for me personally may be not for you that's why i am asking for some help, might not get any! but though its worth a try, but ill take your advice onboard and hopefully in the future ill be able to do that.chk071 wrote: Fri Oct 08, 2021 12:05 pm I have no answer to your question, but, if you want to learn something, try to replicate them yourself.
