Hi,

If I'm reading the release notes correctly, 1.9.5 should be compatible with 10.6.8. However, for me it fails to open. I've got a whole screed of error output I can post if it will help.

Thanks.

Right, if I recall correctly the problem with 1.9.5 was that some of the bundled libraries required a post-2012 CPU, so you're getting a SIGILL error, and the problem with 1.9.4 was that those same libraries required macOS 10.12+. So you'd have to roll back to Photosounder 1.9.0, which is functionally equivalent to 1.9.5. You can't find it on the website but send me an email and I'll send it to you. Btw I have no idea how you survive on macOS 10.6 given the forced obsolescence on macOS, we can't even compile anything in C++ for anything with less than macOS 10.9 anymore.

Many thanks for the reply. 10.6.8 rules, even in 2021! :)

I'll drop you a line...

Snow Leopard was the best drop of OS X ever. I stayed on that for something like 8 years. I had a dual boot on my MBP until very recently.
