I don't see this Synth mentioned here, like, at all, wondering if anyone else rated it?
The fact it has drive and saturation around the filter means it's a gnarly beast when you need that sound without being an all out abrasive noise-fest. Very smooth but rough bass etc.
I've found myself reaching for it instead of Vacuum Pro pretty everytime recently. Lovely arps too, verging on a step sequencer.

I've never heard of it here before. I ran a search and saw that if was offered for free for a limited time.
Maybe one reason it doesn't get as many people talking about it is that it's Windows only.
I will check out the demo and try it out.

Yeah, I got it for free back in the summer...
Not sure if that kind of promotion can kill a plug, people wary of buying it in case it's offered again. Shame because I really rate it.

i know its difficult to assess sometimes, when we receive an item for free, that has a price, a little gratitude does sneak in, perhaps to the assessment...GaryG wrote: Tue Oct 12, 2021 5:57 pm Yeah, I got it for free back in the summer...

In this price range, I think Invader2 approach would help more the developer.

It's a good question and I did consider that before posting, I really like it so probably wouldn't have regretted it. Would I pay full price now? I think it's a possibility, not a no brainer but I prefer it to synths like bx-oberhaus or knifonium(?) which are often available for a similar price. This and Invader are my current 'simple' synth picks, some overlap but enough individuality to justify both.vurt wrote: Tue Oct 12, 2021 6:03 pmi know its difficult to assess sometimes, when we receive an item for free, that has a price, a little gratitude does sneak in, perhaps to the assessment...GaryG wrote: Tue Oct 12, 2021 5:57 pm Yeah, I got it for free back in the summer...

You may have a point, I'd guess e-phonic has sold way more at €5 than Proclethya has at €39.andy4trance wrote: Tue Oct 12, 2021 6:41 pm In this price range, I think Invader2 approach would help more the developer.

It's a very rich sound. Bit of a head scratcher to program though. Reminds me of Dagger.
And the GUI layout is kinda shite really.
Cryptic "1" & "2" buttons to reveal either the envelopes or the filter section for example.
Very odd.
Expensive 'analog esque' sound though. There, i said it.
I'm running the vst2 and vst3 on OSX, although there is no Mac version in my account.
Had to download the demo of 1.0.7 and activate that.
Trying to buy the soundbanks, on their site it says...
"Pay via PayPal; you can pay with your credit card if you don’t have a PayPal account."
but this is simply not true, they have not enabled guest checkout.
Contacted them a few days ago, but it's silly season so i guess no dice till support returns from holiday.

Yeah, that's the puzzler for me, why choose between the envelopes and the filter? I'm guessing most people would rather see both of those areas all the time and selectivley hide the LFO/FM mod etc panels. Though it's hardly a maasive GUI, probably could show everything all the time with just a slight increase and some clever rejigging.sqigls wrote: Thu Dec 30, 2021 7:02 am Cryptic "1" & "2" buttons to reveal either the envelopes or the filter section for example.

I've demoed it, and it sounds very good. The factory presets doesn't show the full potential of the thing.

no audio on Monterey M1 unfortunately.
GUI loads fine, in its super low res
[edit] working in Live 11 trial, not in Cubase 11
[edit again]... ok working in Cubase now, must have needed a restart.
so, Proclethya VST3 is working here on 2021 MBP, OS 12.1, Rosetta, Live 11 and Cubase 11
