I was loading in some 3rd party midi libraries (chord progressions. arps, melodies) and it was a piece of cake because you can drag entire folders with their subfolders straight from a windows explorer onto the phrase library window. However, at one point, RC crashed when I tried loading a few more phrases. It seems like there is a limit to the number of phrases you and have in the library. When I start RC, I get a message saying that 17,550 phrases are loaded. It takes about 10 seconds for all the phrases to load.
My question: is 17,000 (approx) the maximum number of phrases that you can have in RC????
PS - I have 32 gigs of RAM
Is there a maximum number of phrases that you can have in RC?

Hi Rob,
There is no limitation for the number of phrases. The collection of user-contributed phrases that you can download includes more than 42000 phrases and it is loaded without issues.
How can I reproduce the crash? Should I do many conversions of whole folders of MIDI files? Maybe there is a memory leak somewhere? You can run Task Manager and check the memory usage there.
Thanks,
Attila
