Intel 12900k has just been released. Best in class performance, giving AMD and Apple a run for their money.

Keep in mind, only Intels own performance numbers are out. They tested on Windows 11 which (still) has a known performance degradation for for AMD Ryzens (up to 15% slower than in Win 10). They tested apparently with the version which didn't even have the first patch applied.
Count 1+1 and you'll see, Ryzen is still on par.
Btw just wait until Nov 4th, when the third party reviews are allowed tobe posted.
And: I have the impression that WCCF often posts news in favor of Intel, so again, just till next week

Also some people seem to have got it already, despite having no motherboard for it.

Testers got it for sure, but they are only allowed to post on Nov 4th after the embargo.
Anyway, WCCF is a rumor site.
I'm guessing it will be on par in single core and far behind in multi core against Ryzen 5950x.
Against ARM/Apple M1 not sure, but maybe on par there. Let's wait till next week and we'll be sooo enlighted

Where, there isn't anything, you are posting rumours! But it's progress, mostly you make a thread based on snarky comment someone made on some board, this is actual rumour, huge progress
