Camcorder for live gigs

I'm looking for good camera to record live gigs at 720p or better from time to time - ideally with good sound (and built-in limiter) or aux in (3,5 mm) for external audio source.

I was using a years ago Sanyo Xacti camcorder (don't remember which model - it was in 2008) - video was 640x480 but it had incredible limiter. My brother was recording us on live show in club and he was standing between drums and bass amp and the sound was very good (when in reality the point where he was standing was loud AF). Many expensive camcorders have crappy built-in mic...

I own Tascam DR-05X so for the sound it's perfect. I don't want to buy expensive gear, don't own DSLR. I'll be using camcorder from time to time, so some used ones with at least 720p 30fps video and good mic or aux in will do.

Maybe someone would recommend something? Thanks in advance!
