Maybe who ever that person is would like an alternative approach to doing it that doesn't involve Reaper.jancivil wrote: Fri Nov 05, 2021 3:24 am maybe what that person wants already exists, and goes by the name of REAPER

Tracktion is/was owned by Mackie after Julian...I messed with it in the early days so I use to get the comical emails...Mackie has a sense of humor.
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Loomer? Seriously? I mean the Midi part in Max is actually easy, I wanted to do stuff not possible in a standard DAW, but wanted to include the standard stuff as well. I still can do the weird things in Max and connect it to Bitwig via Dante/IAC…

There's actually a quick example in their QuickStart guide, page 24: https://www.loomer.co.uk/downloads/arch ... -start.pdf

You're late. This page here: https://www.tracktion.com/develop/tracktion-engine
has been live since November 2018 (roughly the same time as the video was created)
And although it's "interesting" it takes a considerable amount of work & effort to get something useful.
True. Their mixer manuals were a joy to read compared to what the Japanese companies write up.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Thanks for the pointer. Does this mean I can connect not only to the Midi of my track the VST is placed, but also to the physical Midi inputs? That alone might make it worth to check out… As standalone I wouldn’t use it, for that I am more than covered with Max/MSP…digitallysane wrote: Fri Nov 05, 2021 1:05 pmThere's actually a quick example in their QuickStart guide, page 24: https://www.loomer.co.uk/downloads/arch ... -start.pdf

I got interested into Architect mostly for controlling my MODX and its interfacing with other MIDI controllers, but I do that (for now) only in standalone mode. Using it inside Nuendo is following...Tj Shredder wrote: Fri Nov 05, 2021 1:49 pm Thanks for the pointer. There's quite a bit of Architect chat in the Loomer subforum, the main dev replies quite fast: viewforum.php?f=141
