Every now and again, I would like to check what I have from various companies that insist on huge installation portals, like iZotope, Waves, Steinberg or Melda.
Why on Earth do I need to update the sh*t (that I don't even want) just to be able to access it? It makes no sense. Zero. Nada. Noll. Any decent software just updates a patch (say, with the a link to the latest added product), not the entire thing.
So, whilst I'm writing this, iZotope will hopefully be done updating itself from 1.3.8 to 1.4.2 (I'm not kidding). Oh the revelation when I finally will be able to open the new, updated version! I'm sure angels will sing and Depeche Mode come out with a great album.
