I posted this already in the "Freeware VST effects roundup 64 bit" but I'm not sure anyone seen it.

Hey bagpipe, this is a false alert regularly happening with Microsoft Defender.
Here is a note received from one of our users who had the same issue:
" I just did a quick search and confirmed that others using Windows Defender have identified this particular malware as a false positive in other situations. Should have done that earlier.
I just re-downloaded it and I'm not getting the warning. Installed it without issue and loving it!
Cheers to your creative parameter / filter design. Experimenting with automating the controls with my DAW (Waveform) modifiers, with the built-in randomizer option engaged, which has the plug truly living up to its name!

VirusTotal says 2 out of ~70 flagged the installer. Posted screenshot here: viewtopic.php?p=8280424#p8280424

It does lead to the results page yet we have learned that this happens with many products from various companies, especially if zipped in a mac machine. At the moment, out of 3000+ downloads, only 9 people had this issue and most of those said the issue was gone when the download was repeated.
We will research this a bit more to find a solution so the free filter plugin we developed is not false flagged by incompetent vendors
