Here is AMPER Version 2!

Mid/High gain metal amp for metal guitarist.

But, AMPER is little different than other metal amps. There are 2 different drive section. Sections are not parallel. Connected series.

Volume1 controlling pre-gain tube distortion before main pre-amp which is controlling by Volume 2.

Think like you have distortion pedal before your amp. But this drive modeled from tube amp distortion. Mid gain range to boost main pre-amp.

Tone control section based Sol**** amps.

Also, there is pre-tone shaper before preamp. Carefully designed for metal guitar to keep amp from annoying frequencies.

Hope you like!

I've been playing around with it for half an hour or so and I like the fundamental behavior of it pretty well, especially at the price :) Thank you for releasing this update.

I really hope this doesn't come across as ungrateful, but rather as constructive feedback: I think it is a little dark, a little boxy, and somewhat fizzy if you try to dial in EQ to address those other two, when compared to other high gainers I'm playing with also. If I run into the same IR as I like with other high gain amp sims, I need to really crank on the Treble and Presence at high levels to get it sounding not "dark" and "far away" compared to the others. And that brings in some considerable high frequency fizz. I was able to dial it out with EQ between the amp sim and my IR loader, reducing some lows and boosting some highs, and I enjoyed the resulting sound (V3 could perhaps improve the dynamic feel?), but I would love a "Bright" switch on this amp sim that isn't boosting the super high frequencies as much but does lift like 2k-4k and cut 80-200 some.

Analog Obsession makes some great plugins and I'm grateful for them.
But that being said.....their distortions/ampsims leave a bit to be desired.
