Audio behaving weird in win11

Hey all,
I was over at Spitfire LABS downloading some instruments. I would audition the instruments by clicking the little play icon in the squares. All of the ones I tried were coming through the headphones excepting the bass guitar. It was coming through the speakers and nothing through the phones.

I checked the system settings and they showed the headphones selected , not the speaker. But the speaker instead of the phones was playing. All of the rest of the ones I tried behaved like they should.

How can a website decide to do override my audio settings, then switch them to bsck?

Win11, legion 5, amd, 16gb, 1tb ssd.

if you're using ASIO, that might bypass your system settings.

oh wait.. you mean all that stuff happened inside a web browser?
