2CAudio in 2022?

For some reason, I've never gotten around to trying anything by 2CAudio. They still have a sale going on, so I'm considering some of their reverbs.
I don't seem to hear 2CAudio mentioned much lately. Is anyone routinely using their plugins? Any recommendations?

buyer beware depending on what your OS is.
i love B2 for sound design stuff and weird reverbs and FX.
hopefully they get updates out before 2024 to fix some of the issues w/their plug ins.
see this thread for more details on the state of their plug ins:

it's a kaleidoscope thread but all the reverbs + bugs etc are discussed as well. apparently saving presets is broken in some things.
update timeline is anyone's guess.

I remember demoing B2, thought it was excellent.
I have Precedence installed here, works under Big Sur OS in VE Pro 7.1056. I don't actually use it, I have MIR Pro to get the spatiality together. So it processes audio just fine, but I have not tried automating it or anything in a mix.
It saved and recalled my preset just now, no issue.

I have and use all their products. They work and run fine on my system however I am happily using a legacy system (2010 mac pro macPOS 10.14). There is some risk in the future of 2C products as mentioned so buy with that risk in mind.

Silent. This has many worried that they are defunct. They do reply to support emails although some have said they don't. For those that expect ongoing frequent updates are most concerned. There was what seems like an abrubt change in 2C's engagement with customers on the forum which has contributed to this concern. As a customer I am not concerned for now but who knows. The plugin world is toppsy-turvy and full of twists, turns and risks for consumers.

they eventually responded to the kaleidoscope thread. on the last couple pages there's some posts about development uh.. hurdles.. in order to get things fixed/updated etc.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=429862&start=2880
apparently for some of the plug ins they need to start from scratch or something due to development package or blah blah blah.
this post specifically

I'm a Mac user (for now), so some of the things I'm reading here give me pause. Still will demo and hoping the best for their future.

I have Perfect Storm on my W7 system that is a two CPU Xeon. Pretty much love these for what they do. However, I'm unable to run it on my W10 system that is a single CPU without overloading it. Even though it's the more updated processor (v3 as compared to my double v1 CPUs.)
I am planning on adding one of my older mini-computers as a slave to my v3/W10 specifically for it though.
I'll try to remember to update here on how that goes, (but no promises).
I had Kaleidescope also, but quickly hit my own limitations of programming it.
Hoping they get through these obstacles soon. Definitely a set of programs I want to keep in my setup.

I've had zero issues with their plugins on my M1 running the latest OSX in Ableton 11 and Bitwig 4.1. They're not native ARM, but they run perfectly fine with Rosetta.
