How to use LFO tool using midi in cubase 10.5?

Is there a way to use LFO tool on an audio track and trigger that using midi input in cubase 10.5?
Also, If I need to send my pads to that midi so that the pad ducks when there is midi information on the sidechain midi channel, is there a way to do it?
I am talking about the below three channels. I want my pads to duck when there is a midi note played on Sidechain trigger channel.

is there a sidechain input in the effect LFOtool?
If not it is probably not possible. If there is that's where you need to look. Or, when the effect may be instantiated as an instrument. There is this division of tasks in Cubase, so soon there will prob'ly be people telling you about Ableton or Bitwig.

Create a MIDI track (not Instrument track) and in the inspector, just under "All MIDI Inputs", select your target (LFOTool)...
...then copy your MIDI that you want to use as a trigger on that MIDI Track...

Target = Output.
... ...
An LFO kind of a tool, Steinberg's, is instantiated there, and no. I've never seen FX in MIDI Input. You'll need to show us, what am I missing.

I just said 'Target = Output". That's called output, fyfi.
I wasn't missing anything, then. (w. 'just under MIDI Input' I expected the thing that is closer 'under input' - the choice of input - than 'output' is.
)
So, again, if the effect may be instantiated as an instrument...
So, if LFOtool knows to send that data to the Padshop channel yer in bidness.

As all your MIDI notes in the "Sidechain Trigger" channel seams to be the same length, you could also use LFOTool to duck the pads by putting an LFOTool on the pad channel and use another output in your "sidechain trigger" MIDI channel within the "MIDI Sends" section.vignesh.vijay wrote: Sun Jan 02, 2022 4:38 pm Also, If I need to send my pads to that midi so that the pad ducks when there is midi information on the sidechain midi channel, is there a way to do it?

If your MIDI notes would be of different length you would have to use an audio signal from those notes and set the usual sidechain compression from it....

Its not the same . it would vary .. its on all the places when Kick or snare hits

Watch from 6.15 to 8.50 .. this is the exact same thing which I am trying to do inside cubase but I am not able to.

You should be able to do the exact same thing.vignesh.vijay wrote: Mon Jan 03, 2022 6:16 pm https://academy.fm/courses/how-to-make- ... t/#lesson2

The problem I can see from your attached image is that your "Sidechain LFO Tool" channel is an audio track ....it should be a Group track if you want to send audio from another track. Then you put LFOTool in that group track and trigger it from a MIDI Track as I said before.
But if you don't send more than one audio track to your group track there is no point in doing it that way ...just put lfotool directly in the audio track or instrument track you want to duck.... and send the midi trigger there...
Also, your upper right dot in your lfotool curve should be in the complete upper right corner to get sure the enveloppe doesn't ends with a closed volume....
and... in lfotool, I always set the note retrig at ENV, as the guy did... your isn't there... I'm not sure what is the difference though...

I can try adding to individual tracks .. but how would I send the same midi trigger to every individual track?

You have the "main" output that I talked earlier + 4 outputs in MIDI Sends section of the inspector...vignesh.vijay wrote: Mon Jan 03, 2022 11:57 pmGreat.Jolaff wrote: Mon Jan 03, 2022 7:49 pm

So does it mean by this method, I would be able to send it only to 5 tracks total?Jolaff wrote: Tue Jan 04, 2022 5:28 am You have the "main" output that I talked earlier + 4 outputs in MIDI Sends section of the inspector...

Yes ...you can use groups for the ones who uses the same "ducking enveloppe"...vignesh.vijay wrote: Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:44 amSo does it mean by this method, I would be able to send it only to 5 tracks total?Jolaff wrote: Tue Jan 04, 2022 5:28 am You have the "main" output that I talked earlier + 4 outputs in MIDI Sends section of the inspector...
