I've never used this (for obvious reasons) but super-rough mixing some acoustic drums for the 'Jamuary' thing, I though I'd see what it does.
Does nothing; just hangs on the 'clock' thing waiting for audio even though it is getting audio (the neutron meters etc are showing it).
I have Nectar and Ozone, so I tried the equivalent of those on the same buss and they work fine.
Tried it in Reaper and S1 same result.
Is it broken? Not really bothered cos it's not something I will use in seriousness, but it's annoying if it's a paid-for feature but it doesn't work.
Advanced version.
Tried reinstall, same behaviour.

RTFM is the best advice, but in the meantime...
When you hit assistant, it's asking you to play audio, you need to select about a 30 second section within the tool not the DAW, and then hit play and let it do it's magic.
I don't understand your (for obvious reasons) statement, they are very useful tools.

Thanks. I know that stuff; as I said I have Ozone and Nectar, both work in the same circumstances. Doesnt matter, I'll get on to supportDirk Diggler wrote: Tue Jan 04, 2022 1:51 pm RTFM is the best advice, but in the meantime...

Do you have a relay or neutron on every track?
