Hi there. I really love the sounds from The Kingsway Music Libraries and The Sample Lab. I want to start making my own loops using Vst's(Kontakt Komplete, U-HE, Arturia V Collection etc). What instruments are used to create those vintage sounding loops? I know the obvious sounds are like piano and Rhodes el-p's and Fender basses. What is used for those droney atmosperic sounds that create a certain mood? Any advise and help will be greatly appreciated.

Coincidentally, there's an interview with Frank Dukes (who created the Kingsway libraries) in this months Sound on Sound. 'Taster' of the article
