Hi there!

We released Supertube: a triode amplifier and compressor that let you modify the characteristics of its tube (geometry, electrical abilities). It is a playful way to build your own tube colouring sound, by listening and tweaking knobs.

In Supertube, your audio signal flows through a tube triode from its cathode to its plate (amplification). The same rectified signal is sent to the triode's grid for dynamically limiting the output gain (vari-mu compression).
Hence, the amplification stage generates warm tube coloration, while the optional compression stage offers an organic tube compression.

No electronical background is required, as the effect of every of them can be easily heard by ear. Moreover, 13 presets are here to get you started.

I can understand that, unfortunatly it is all we have for now. In your ideal world, what would you replace it with?

Note that you can activate it in an unlimited amount of machine and we do not store the activated computer IDs.

If one day your company goes bankrupt, your plugins will be of no use because it is impossible to reactivate. So why buy your plugins? too risky even for $ 25

We definitly consider going DRM-free in the future. Be reassured though, we are nowhere close to bankrupt.

ok, your answer is going in the right direction, and the day you switch to drm free(or less anoying system of protection), i would buy your plugin without a doubt

That's always a worry. When I bought a new DAW computer last year, I had plugins from three devs that required me to have to contact them to get new authorisations. And when I upgraded to Windows 11 I had to contact one of them again for another new authorisation.

The devs that sent a license key file or serial number when I bought the plugin were super easy to re-auth, and of course, the dreaded iL*k licenses took no effort at all.

Due to the negative feedback regarding our online plugin activation process, we took the decision to remove all DRM protections from our products, including Supertube. No more license keys and online challenge!
