Thank you for unlocking the thread!

Here a small contribution for the health of this thread ;)

For anyone interested I have found a very interesting text about the MKII rhytms and fills presets.
This is a dissertation (yes, a dissertation) on the content of the plugin we are discussing in this thread!
The title is:
"A reflexive analysis of an original composition for Mellotron using transcriptions of the MKII rhythms and fills presets as a compositional tool"
You can download a pdf of the dissertation here:
https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/A ... 8ce7be5290

The author even transcribed all the instrumental fills in notation :)

I would say it's worth to have a look at this work :)
Wow.

Thanks.

I think it was £120 boxed. I got it from Turnkey in London around 2005??? It was one of the first plugins I bought when I returned to making music.

there’s a more detailed list in terms of how they’re arranged in the manual that’s in the download package for the demo - it’s similar to listings Gforce uses for the m-tron Pro expansions.

Could you point to where you did find this manual?
After reading your post I searched on my PC but could not find anything.

BTW in the meantime I asked at G-Force and they friendly sent me a comprehensive list.

I was surprised I didn't see some of the staples like Strings (rather than just violins) and Choir. Maybe I simply missed them?

i've got it in the dmg disk image that contains the os x demo: 11MB PDF called M-Tron MkII Manual.

maybe it's not in the windows package?

These sounds are too new, they came in with the M400 mostly. M-Tron MkII only has what a Mellotron MkII or Chamberlin had.

Well I never knew that. Just had a quick look at the Mellotron book and you are right, the original tape banks for the Mk1, Mk2, M300 and Chamberlin didn't include any choirs or massed strings, the nearest to that was the 3 violins.
