Before I pick up RC-20 (£15 at PB) what other Lo-Fi plugins should I consider? I have Audiothing Reels and the Arturia Mello freebie. At that price I could just pick it up anyway but I am trying to keep my plug-in folder under control. What are your favourites? Flexibility is key for me rather than a specific flavour of sound.

To answer your question though there is Unfiltered Audio's Lo-Fi-AF, Waves, RetroFi and Excite Audio has something called Lifeline Expanse, though I'm not familiar with anything they do.
I have the first two though. I like Lo-Fi-AF for its modern take on lofi and its ability to digitally glitch the sound. Waves on the other hand has a huge history in recreating vintage equipment. Listening to what RetroFi does has a kind of vibe that is very reminiscent of the past. It has a more authentic classic sound about it, if there is such a thing.
