The issue is if you Import into current composition it just imports the midi with no chords, if I Import it will create a new composition and delete the Band In A Box VST.
There are other VSTi that have this feature like Musiclab RealGuitars that will drag export the chord track.
If you had an option Import into current composition > replacing chords.
