Would you buy both Decapitator & Saturn2?

I own Decapitator, I want Saturn2 just want to know if it’s worth the purchase!

I’m pretty sure that there are many users here who do own both (including me). They’re different enough that you could easily find uses for both. Whether or not it’s worth it is totally up to you. Definitely give the demo a spin (then you’ll probably just buy it)

i own both... had decap first and i love it's character but i also bought Saturn 2. Saturn 2 is far more useful in the end... you can carve out a section of the source and just add saturation to it not to mention you can choose different saturations/distortions and assign them to separate frequency ranges of the source.
again Saturn is far more useful but i wouldn't give up decap

My answer to this question is no. I would buy only Saturn 2.
Since you already own Decapitator, you should demo Saturn and compare them

i agree... if you'd have had neither i wouldn't suggest buying both... no real need for both.

I really wanted to like Saturn, but it just seemed to sound mushy to me. Perhaps I didn't try it for long enough or on the right material
Decapitator though I think is great, simple to dial it in.
One to match with Decapitator could be Trash 2 - though it's more on the distortion side that the saturation side. Otherwise Ohmicide or Predatohm from Ohm Force are (still) both great distortions.
