I'm trying out Pianoteq, Addictive Keys and Traction collective which are all synthesized sounds and sometimes they play out of tune to the same degree e.g C is C#, A can become Aflat @ approx 430Hz. Recorded sounds as wav files play perfectly a 440Hz wav is played at 440 Garritan Piano which is recorded also plays correctly.
I'm using Harrison Mixbus on Windows but have noticed the same using problem in Bitwig and Renoise. Any idea why this might be so?

Further to the previous comment, do you have the problem if you draw midi in directly in the piano roll? Got any effects happening which might be modulating pitch?

Some synths let you redefine the diapason -- basically, the frequency of middle "A," with everything else following from that reference point. I dunno about the other two mentioned, but Pianoteq allows you to set it about a whole step in either direction, IIRC. It's a long shot (and you've probably checked), but there might be something like that happening.
