Ugh, my google foo is failing me. Does anyone know of a command line tool that will split a wav file on transients? It doesn't have to be perfect at all, I just want to script the splitting of some files rather than do it in the DAW. I don't care if the quality is rough, for the intended purpose, that's fine.
It would be great if you could also choose to split into approximately n pieces aligned as close as possible to zero crossings.
Basically I'm looking for something like sox on steroids.
Double bonus if it's a linux tool.
Command Line Tool to split a wav file on transients?
