Where are you all you selling your songs at? How does Royalties work?

I've been producing songs for years. I just have them on bandcamp right now with barely any sells. Should I register them through a site like Tunecore / CDbaby to get them on spotify / other streaming / music sale sites?

Do I need to register my songs myself on ascap / bmi / sesac or does (tunecore,cdbaby) do it for me?

Also, should I have been registering copyrights for my songs? I figured just releasing them online on bandcamp already copyrights them.

Also, if I have a singer, and a cowriter for the song, but I produced/mixed it, but someone else mastered it. How do I split royalties between them? We're all friends and I havent sold alot but so far I just sent them some paypal % of the sales, but if I register on spotfiy and start generating income it might get confusing...


Just trying to get more organized with my music and take it more professionally.
