Selling all of my stuff

Hi, I own all kinds of plugins from Komplete Ultimate 13 to EZ Keys to Ablton Live Suite, and all kinds of others. The thing is, I don't really make music as much as I used to, and I wanted to find a safe way to sell my plugins and daws. I seen that there's scams on here, which I have no problem with showing proof on my end, and making everything as painless as possible, but I'm not trying to get scammed either. I plan on using Paypal, but if there's a safer secure way, I would prefer to keep it as official as possible. It seems that I have to get some time and posts on the boards before I can sell, which is fine. I'm just curious if anyone has any seller experience. I prefer to keep everything 100% official. I plan on selling at a fair price. I probably own about 10k in software, so I have a lot to get rid of. Any advice will be appreciated. I just opened my account today, so I won't be posting anything for sale until KVR allows it. Hopefully this isn't something that's been asked a million times. I'm not trying to spam or annoy anyone.

I tried posting there, but they have rules before you can post. Which is a good thing. I've never sold a plugin online, so it's a bit concerning considering the cost of plugins. I was just looking for some advice from someone who has experience.

sorry, i meant at the top of that forum, there is some basic advice, re posting
yes, you need a certain number of posts, to post in there, but you can get a idea of what people are charging/paying for some of your items, using the search function too.

Just spend some time on the buy and sell forum. Read posts there, see what other people are selling, see how much things are selling for. Read the scam thread and just go about your business in an intelligent way.
I was on this forum for many many years before I ever sold my first few plugins some months ago. Those sales all went smoothly.

It sucks, but: you have to check with each software developer. Not all synths CAN be sold. Some require a license transfer fee.
It's not as simple as saying "I have synth X for sale!", unfortunately. There's a bit of work involved, and the rules vary by developer. ...and that involves poking around the legal documentation for each of them, which can be a real bear.
Apologies: I know that makes it much less convenient. :S

I find knobcloud really annoying to sell through - takes ages to make each individual sale itempixel85 wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 6:09 pm knobcloud.com - easier and more convenient even for lazy bastards like me![]()

Do you mean finding someone to buy or the transaction process? I'm selling plugins quite 'cheap' so the former wasn't a problem for me and I never had any issue with the latter.fairlyclose wrote: Fri Feb 25, 2022 10:36 amI find knobcloud really annoying to sell through - takes ages to make each individual sale itempixel85 wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 6:09 pm knobcloud.com - easier and more convenient even for lazy bastards like me![]()

I find setting up the sale takes too long compared to KVR - finding a picture and so on.pixel85 wrote: Fri Feb 25, 2022 11:04 amDo you mean finding someone to buy or the transaction process?
