Hi!! I've written and posted well over a hundred user reviews for audio software, and I'm considering creating some videos to post on YouTube, etc. Which software works best for demoing software and talking over it? I've heard QuickTime works well, and it's built in, but . . .

Screenflow is pretty seamless and has a pretty good editor built in, but is a slight pain in the ass to use now because Apple did something with Core audio a couple years back meaning your DAW has to run using Telestream audio drivers for Screenflow to pick the audio up.
An alternative is to use OBS, if your audio interface has loopback. Even better if you have an RME interface as you can run loopback per channel, meaning you can record voice and DAW on separate audio channels and then import into your editor.
