IK Multimedia Activation Headache, old T-rackS 3 plugins don't work paid upgrade ?

I recently switched from Windows 10 to Mac with M1 chip.
tried to install my T-raks 3 plugins, but they can't even be installed on new mac.
so I have to buy new versions of Traks in order to use them on new Mac ?

also I activated all the free IK products in IK product manager, but when I open them in cubase theyr'e not activated, when I try to activate them thru plugin in cubase they don't show up in the custom shop

T-RackS 3 is over 12 years old (and maybe 32-bit only?).

But you should be able to download and install the IK Product Manager and use that to install and authorize the free "T-RackS 5 Custom Shop" (this includes the Custom Shop program, v2). Then run the Custom Shop program, login, click your account name and select "Restore my purchases".

Updated versions of all of your TR3 plug-ins should then be available for use (64-bit only).

"Restore my purchases" should deal with your other free products too.

did you install the AU versions? they seem to work fine here (M1 Pro). the VST3 version don't work

Uninstall your old T-RackS 3 installer, then install and activate the latest version of T-RackS 5 in the IK Product Manager.

Open the Custom Shop application, click on the T-RACKS section, and then click RESTORE MY GEAR. All of the T-RackS plugins from the version you own should be authorized. New plugins that you haven't purchased will not be.

The VST3 versions will show up in your DAW if you are running it under Rosetta2. To run in Rosetta2, open your Applications folder, select your DAW app, and click on Get Info. Check the box to "Open using Rosetta."

If you are running your DAW as native Apple Silicon, the Audio Units versions of your T-RackS 5 plugins should show up.

This all is too confusing for me,
I contacted IK support same day I posted here but still haven’t gotten a reply from them.

They emailed me 5 promotion emails since than, but haven’t replied to my support request yet..
I emailed Antares, they replied same day and took care of the issue same day. But here with IK almost a week went by and nothing..

Ikm sucks big times, their plugins are buggy, they got maybe 3-4 auhorization managers which dont work consistently and their support sucks also so far, they dont get something done correctly after 2-3 weeks.

I got only issues with them so far, when tracks works it is a well sounding suite but if you want to have less stress find alternatives, i didnt take time yet to replace their tracks5 suite. Im replacing all my projects from tracks3 to tracks5 cause tracks3 doesnt authorize and they cannot help lol.

The time of fuc%ing online activations with companies not getting it done right. Ni is another crap company.

Your ticket was posted 3/17/22, 3:10 PM and answered 3:41 PM that same day. Please check your junk/spam folders. The answer was that T-RackS 3 will not run/install on newer M1 Mac systems but T-RackS 5 will and will host the plugins you own in the T-RackS family.

If you don't find the response in your email inbox or junk/spam folders but you do have the initial automated confirmation you can reply to that to request more assistance.

Unfortunately for starters, I will have to note that TR3 will not be compatible on an M1 Mac.
But TR5 will run all presets and things as such. S no need to worry about your projects.

As for the rest of the issue:
Most IK products are compatible with M1 macOS systems using Rosetta 2. Upon installing IK Product Manager for the first time you will see a message requesting you install this. In short, Rosetta 2 enables a Mac with Apple silicon to use apps built for a Mac with an Intel processor.
