Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a message board/forum for the Alesis SR16 as I'm having a problem with mine crashing and I need to find out how it's midi dumps are formatted. I tried asking Alesis but they said they didn't know!?

You might try this Alesis forum at Home Recording. There were several SR16 posts. . .

Wow...taking me back...I had one of those 12 years ago, but it was stolen out of my car at a party...I later replaced it with a used HR-16B....

I've still got mine...it's just in my mom's basement in the States along with my Midiverb

If it's cheap, go for it...I played with that thing forever before I ever had a computer...Had it fixed once and it's still chuckin' along. If you get it be sure to give it a thorough run-through first
