Audio envelope to midi

hey guys,

in Ableton live there is a max4live device which i can put for example on a drum loop, and it generates a midi out signal corresponding to the drum loops envelope.
with this signal i can trigger any parameter in any synth or fx.
is there something similar and simple in vst world( wanna use it in studio on)
