Hello,

I am slowly getting back into VSTs after about a decade or so. When I finished my CD I started doing more live performance and put aside recording/composing.

But, now I have decided to upgrade my keyboards (for live performance) by using a laptop with VSTs. So I recently bought/installed Gig Performer and I was able to upgrade to Kontakt 6 at a reasonable price because I had an older version. Even though I was into VSTs and recording, it is a huge learning curve.

But, one thing I know I will like use at some point is a simple sample player (I used to have VSampler) so I can play sound clips as part of the show (e.g., plane taking off (Back in the USSR), breaking glass (You May Be Right) and I am sure other type of things).

So, I am looking for a free simple sample player. I guess I mostly want to trigger samples, but I suppose some other functionality is fine.

I would want use it as a VST in Gig Performer.

I just downloaded and installed. But gig performer said there was some type of error.

(But, I'll try again another time and let you know.))

Sorry, I just moved on to the other free sampler option, which seemed to install fine. (There is no reason to think the problem is with Gig Performer). Thank you for your responsiveness!

I have some free Wurlitzer 200a samples from pianovintage.fr. I use Studio One a little Reaper, how do I load these, do I need Kontakt?

Convert to SFZ?
