Look for plugins that apply a vibrato sine pattern (or more) to a waveform.

I remember back in the 2000s, I had this analogue thingy that I had purchased that could "replicate" a wave form with a set pattern (or apply some sort of transformation to waveform every couple of ms). I've long since lost that tool but I'd like to recreate with a plugin or digital interface (although preferably, it should be something from the early 00s)

And for starters, it coincidentally pretty much did this "effect" exactly like here (check the spectrogram of this against the original sample and you can see the effect going on here as well as listening to it).

Example:

Original Sample: (lovely song in its own right)

You can try the free vibrato "MVibrato" from melda. It does simple pitch modulation to any signal.

Volumeshaper.

Could also be a ring modulation…

if you just mean vibrato theres loads of options, psp hertzrider is a good one, but not sure what you mean by 'replicate a wave form with a set pattern (or apply some sort of transformation to waveform every couple of ms'

I think my earlier explanation was bad so i'll just make it as clear as I can. See how in the comparisons of the result vs the original sample how the result has a sort of "pattern" that repeats through out which somewhat follows the original in volume and pitch? That is the effect I am trying to recreate through modern plugins and workstations. If you know an plugin that can do this, that would be neat.
