Arturia has just released this beauty, i've made a quick preset walkthrough video, so you can listen it.

It sound very very good, i love it, the only downside is the cpu consumption, a bit higher, but the sound quality is top

Very nice, reminds me a bit of Kontakt instrumen5ts (for 100E!) and maybe Output stuff....I see a series of at least 3 coming up!

Intro is in the name of the plugin so we probably have a bigger version on the way.

Sounds nice. Interesting concept. I hope the upcoming plugins have more parameters for tweaking.

Thanks for this Arturia.... (though not convinced about the Strings sound from their online audio demos but then again my sound palette or orchestra libraries are usually those that are $400-$1500).

Yeah, and the rest of us didn't even need to spend hours beta testing and making presets to get it for nothing!

Looks like that’s exactly what it is to me, boring preset player like the Kontakt things NI is only able to churn out these days. I’m sure lots of people will like it but I really hope Arturia will keep making great synths.

Nice freebie but god damn I hope Arturia isn't going the way of other devs releasing sampler players like this. I know it's a business decision but seems very Spitfire Labs/NI player

What in the actual F Arturia?

Augmented Strings playing the "Go To" preset found in the Strings folder:

Kontakt with a similar (better to me) sounding patch with VSL Strings and a Choir layered:

That "Go To" patch will choke out Orion simply by playing a few notes on a system with an i7 8700K 6 core 12 thread 4.7 GHz turbo speed CPU with an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti graphic card.

It's a simple string sound layered with a choir in a sampled based synth. There is no reason it should require such system demand.

Arturia, why in the world would you need to offload so much processing to the GPU or any at all for that matter ?

I appreciate the generosity for setting the Intro version free but come on Arturia.....

Thanks for the heads up ... downloading now. Thanks to Arturia too. I've picked up half a dozen of their plugs for nowt over the last few years.
