Was never a huge fan, but I liked his soundtrack to The Offence - such a bleak film, the music definitely spot on for this. I'll have to give him another punt. Important composer all the same. RIP.

His music is so powerful and dramatic - first thing I saw by him was Punch and Judy which at the time I found shocking but also compelling

Awesome film. Probably Connery at his best. Haven't watched it this century ... time to re-vist
