Budget PC build $1k

The last PC I built was about 11 years ago. due to some drastic changes in my health and other issues I haven’t been keeping up with the world of computers and all the changes that have happened since. A few examples of things that I am relatively clueless about… Thunderbolt. Any USB beyond 3.0. Display port. NVME. anything beyond SATA 6gb & Whatever PCI slots were all the rage at the time. 16X? No experience beyond Windows 7. For those already vomiting in their own mouths, my vision and finger dexterity or not good enough for me to do the bill. So I will be using the services of my local computer store for a fee to put everything together.
budget $1000 USD. (Not flexible)

Requirements:
minimum 64 GB RAM DDR4
Onboard graphics (able to run 2 monitors. Probably 1080P but no higher than 4K)
absolutely no gaming.
able to run about 20 instances of Kontakt + 4 Sample Modeling brass.
IK Modo Bass + Modo Drum + B3x
IK insert, buss & aux efx.
Let’s add a few synths for good measure.
( I listed developers and specific plugs to give you an idea of the power requirements)


I am looking to put together a budget PC. The price of the 12600k is intriguing right now on sale near me for $250 USD. What should I be aware of? What should I be concerned about? While my power requirements may not seem very high, I don’t want to have to build another for at least seven years. Being in one of the latest socket types is important. At most, I might swap the CPU at some point in the future. (If that ever becomes necessary)

this isn’t an exercise where you go about picking the best components like water cooling and ultra quiet enclosures. Some of the latest and greatest stuff out there I’m sure would easily push me over budget. Noise is a concern. Along with power draw. But it’s limited to whatever I can do with them my budget.

I have two SATA 6 GBs. SSDs crucial and Samsung. These will be upgraded to NVME at some point in the future and be thrown into an older PC.

Help me squeeze the most power / performance from this budget. Would consider buying a used desktop. However, I have no clue where things stand regarding stuff like DPC latency etc. also all aspects will require a little bit of handholding here.

Spend rest on storage or monitor.

You definitely don't need to spend extra for cooling/case. I'd rather have a better processor or larger SSD.

Technically you can buy i7 for the rest, but I really doubt it will be utilised.

DPC latency is not a problem with that particular motherboard (MSI PRO B660M-A).

Actually this is almost the same build that I use right now. I5 12400 is very good for the money. And it's easy to cool so you don't need to spend extra on cooler and case.

Some of the P12 series models are noisy, with a resonance that kicks in at certain RPMs. Certainly is true that the older Arctic 120mm fans that came with my Artic Freezer 34 eSports DUO were noisy.

And I recently replaced those with two Noctua NF-P12 on my CPU cooler, and they are great. I read about them a few years ago. They are very close in performance to Noctua's premimum fans, in both noise level and output. True, but the ARGB/RGB 0dB versions are not, they have a ring around the helix
