HY Slicer 2 Rumors

- it will have PAN Option per Slice
- Update to ver2 is free for ver1 users
- there will be maybe 3 play modes
- ver2 is in progress <20% ready

You can try out the Free Version, maybe its a good Solution...ver.1 is a bit but by slicing content correctly, like longer samples....but with a bit handwork its pretty cool to work with.

Slicex is not bad, has a lot of clever functions HY Slicer don´t have, like Replace a Slice with another Sample or Routing every Slice out to an FX-Channel.

Multi-Bus-Routing would be nice for an next Version...like 4 to 8 Busses, so it can route to external effects...or maybe SEND to internal effect (i already mentioned him)

i think the HY-Plugins demo restrictions are the ocassional audio drop outs

if you happen to like it enough, there's no need to wait for v2, as updates and upgrades for all his plugins are free for everyone who purchased a license at one point

the only things i'd "need" in a v2:
1. MIDI pattern export to host
2. per step effects, not just global. individual outs are a great way for this

1. More randomization algorithms for the slices, or maybe if we were able to use LFOs to modulate the slices, pitch, etc.
2. Probability for pitch, reverse, effect, etc.
3. More tables.

- RX2 support...you mean because saving the offsets'/ slices and use in other software.
So here i have a greneral question, which formats can to that excepts rx2 i know from Reason dr.octorex, i rly want tiouse my 4000 rx2 file only can use in reason now ^^,

- random algo - what u mean with that? do ver1 only have one algo? what is the difference you expect...more randomisation? how can u find out if randomizaion more or less?
- probablilitiy - you mean probability per sequence loop when its running? like automatic random switch for each slive while playing ?
- you mean more tables for the available modifications? yes okay, why no, but i dont use that much

mostly i use loops or drum loops and modify it the classiv ways, and try to manipulatie it not absolutly chaotic but musical in a good sounding shape.
