To be honest the only tempting buying point is the fact it’s DIY, the fun is in the building of it, if it came prebuilt then there’s nothing about it that would raise my eyebrow.

Yanis knows there’s a market outhere for people who just like building things.

Up to now I’ve built their lil Erebus, Dysphonia and Antiphon, and I use non of them, but I had fun building them.

You can always find someone to build it for you. That's what I did with my Mutable Instruments Shruthi. There was no way I was going to solder the circuit boards on that kit!

They 'disappeared' pretty quickly. Pro-tip regarding Dreadbox DIY kits. Get on their mailing list. If what they are offering interests you, click the link, and order it immediately.

The Dysphonia was sold-out in under 48 hours. Antiphon not much longer than that (iirc). I'm happy to have scored both of those, AND now I'm not upset any longer with having vacillated too long on the original Erebus kit, as the new one (coming out soon) is vastly improved, and by far, more "first time builder" friendly, which the Dysmetria was not..
