Hello - This is the track that I found surprising,
The Beatles song "If I fell". It has been digitally manipulated to almost totally remove
McCartneys voice in the joint lead vocal they did for this song:

The two voices were recorded (according to legend) together around the same
microphone. What method is used to target one voice this way?

I think it was Neural Networks - Machine Learning.
Not easy, it takes a lot of effort in training to get it that far. Think of months of works for the single song.

Thanks very much for responding, it seems like magic to me.
I've played around with Izotope RX, "music rebalance" and it's ability to manipulate all vocals,
raise the levels up or down, it works well enough, seems to get a little better each time they
have an update. Their efforts are massive compared to what was available just a few years ago,
but I didn't think I'd ever hear the result displayed on the song above
