Is "Loop Sync" fix available yet...?

HI

Just upgraded to Sampletank 2 running on my Win XP PC with Pro tools Le 6.4.

I have spent the past few hours scratching my head trying to get the loop sync to work.....no luck...

So I packed up and wandered onto this forum and found a "bug" listed for Sampletank from earlier in the year.

But not a lot since....

Has the issue been addressed and am I simply doing something wrong or am I stuck without a feature that I was looking forward to using...?

Works for me... except it seems to be global, and screws up the pitch of any instrument that looks like it has a BPM in its name (80s bass, for example).

Anyway, I don't use loops so it doesn't bother me much.

If you have this problem, you can probably save the instrument as a user patch (using a name without any numbers that look like BPMs!) and use the user patch instead of the original.

Loop Sync on Windows for ProTools is the only loop sync bug. I know it is coming soon in an update. I don't know when exactly. I hope that helps. There may be some good news in other ways for ProTools users. I can't say more except that people should keep an eye on IK at AES this month!

I'll keep my eyes peeled...(rather a nasty thought when you think about it...peeling eyes...ewww...!)

To be fair I still find my varios pretty hard to beat for all things stretchy and loop syncy, but this function would seriously tempt me to pack up my tiny red rackmount and become 100% symbiotic with the PC.....
