VST step-sequencer similar to that found on synthi aks/microbrute

I remember I had a monophonic step-sequencer VST from a long time ago. Basically like the step-sequencer for the synthi aks or on the microbrute where you hit a note on your keyboard, it's entered as a step, the sequencer advances to the next step, then you hit the next note on the keyboard, etc. until you've entered the desired phrase (there's a rest button too). Then you press play and can control the rate etc (would be great if the rate was independent of the host DAW). I want to make some Pink Floyd "On the Run" style music.

I'm trying to find the one I had before, or a polyphonic version of what I'm talking about for my windows pc. If you've got any clue, I'd be very grateful!
