hi,
some days ago i received a beta-version of stratoblaster, a guitar-synth from algomusic, for evaluation purposes.
after playing around with the presets, i started with a minimalistic tune, which, at the end, became more and more psychedelic...
have fun while listening to Psychodelicate
this is just a rough and raw mix. it still needs some eq and stuff...
the following instruments were used on this track:
2 instances of m42-nebula (a rythm-sound had to be split)
3 instances of the stratoblaster beta ( one clean guitar, two distorted)
vanguard for some beeps and blops, waldorf attack for the drums.
thanks again to algomusic for providing the beta, and i hope we all don't have to wait too long for the final version of this superb guitar-vsti.
regards,
aetherwellen

This is an excellent piece. Starts off rather minimally, but progresses as you hear the SB parts come in. I also hear M42 start it off at the beginning. The panning textures are intoxicating.
As you can hear , the SB has some great clean sounds, as well as distorted. However the DR and I were not completly happy with the distortion part, so thats why it's still on the drawing board. It uses 60MB packed of soundfonts the DR made himself from his own stratacastor.

nice tune. I really liked the M42 and clap percussion. The guitar solo near the end was fantastic - but took awhile to get there!

but whats this about betas
well..this was a "one-time" deal only . Aether was doing a track that needed guitar and asked us about trying out the beta of SB. We agreed as a one time thing, also to get feedback on it.
so please: don't ask for it ( yet) it is still in development. Thanks! ( room of silence now)
