Is it possible to do this in SX -
Set it up so that opening the audio editor automatically opens the file in Wavelab, then on closing Wavelab the file (plus any changes) appear back in the arrange window?
Know what i mean? Im sure i did it before in an older Cubase, but i totally forgot how to do it and if it even worked. Just thought it might be cool for offline processing.

Your right, the older version used to have an option for external wave editor. I just do most of my editing right in cubase now so I haven't really thought about it too much.
Did you check the Help file...(although that's not usually too helpful)

Yeh, if it comes to the crunch I'll hit help... but i really hate help files and online manuals! I have a feeling this feature is not present in SX, but it would be great for me if it was. I do loads off offline processing and detailed editing, and its a pain keep to do in Cubase.
Just a thought...

No SX took that feature out, but honestly there is no need to run both programs at the same time. You can do all the editing you need to do right inside SX. That was their logic, atleast, and I agree.

Yeh, I can imagine this is the case for most people. I think Steiny should release an SX Tee Boy edition, and include all the features I want but no one else gives a shite about.
