Hi I just noticed this issue today. I did alot of troubleshooting to figure out why it sounded different, even level matched with daw playback and different audio players, the sound is just different in Cubase.

In Cubase it sounds more "punchy" and "fuller mid range" when played back anywhere else it sounds like there's more highs and less lows / punch.......

The renders null when polarity is reversed. I have nothing in controlroom, no sends. I'm using same ASIO Driver to playback in daw and audio players same time. Is there a setting in cubase I might be missing ? I find it weird that what I hear in Cubase sounds different than what it actually sounds like on all the audio players out there.

I specifically used this fiel to test with but its on all files. Playback in Cubase's audio engine sounds better than playback on other devices...

EDIT/// Fixed the problem...

For some reason my interface had some sound enhancement going on eventhough they were all unchecked. I had to check the box "disable all enhancements" now everythings normal...

Sorry to bother you guys you can close thread now lol
